Abstract
For the second time in two weeks, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi officials are alerting current and former students after student information was found online. The information, included in a list of 46 student enrolled in an online English course in 2005, contained student names and Social Security numbers. TAMUCC became aware of the problem after officials were notified by a student that discovered the file. The university immediately took the file offline and disabled all search engine access to university web space for the time being. According to officials, the university does not know how long the information was available online.
