Abstract
Recently, a thief broke into a locked University of Technology, Sydney office and stole four completed mathematics exams before the grades could be computed. The office, belonging to senior lecturer and respected mathematician Dr. Layna Groen, had to door forcefully opened. As of now there is no common link between the four students whose exams were taken. Current thoughts on motives range from a student unhappy with their performance to a student looking to tamper with exams. The University had little choice but to have the four student sit for a new exam, a move which has prompted controversy. One foreign student even went so far as to question the academic integrity of the University.
