Abstract
Computer attackers gained access to Social Security numbers and financial information on 1,850 University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey students and alumni. UMDNJ was able to determine that the personal information was accessed by the attackers but could not verify if any of the information was copied. The interim dean of UMDNJ's Medical School sent letters to students notifying them about the security breach.
