Quick Facts

Abstract
A recent audit of the North Dakota State University System's ConnectND software reveled that personal student information is available to many individuals that should not have access to such information. The audit found that diverse individuals, including some student workers, have access to student information, including Social Security numbers. In addition, the audit raised serious questions about how credit card and other student financial information is stored within the system. University System officials say that the storage of credit cards was an oversight that is being fixed right away.
