SSNBreach.org Finds More Studnet Information Online

Quick Facts

Abstract
Aaron Titus of SSNBreach.org and the Liberty Coalition wrote to ESI to tip us off about a recent news release by SSNBreach.org about files found on the Naval Postgraduate School's website. These files, found back in early August, contain the names, ranks, partial Social Security numbers, graduation dates, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and more on 1,058 NPS students. After finding the files, SSNBreach.org notified the NPS Dean of Students who immediately removed this files. These files have already been removed from Google's caches. However, it is unclear whether or not the Navy has alerted the affected students since there has yet to be a press release by either the Navy or the Naval Postgraduate School about the incident.
