Abstract
A Miami University employee has lost a hand-held computer containing personal information on 851 students. The exact nature of the information exposed was not released. However, the students who enrolled between July 2001 and May 2006 were affected. The University does not believe this information is being used for any illicit activities. However, Miami University has created a program to tighten security controls and increase employee training.
