Abstract
Dartmouth College recently notified the New Hampshire Attorney General following the theft of a storage device containing personal financial information. The device, stolen around November 8, contained the student or parent name, phone number, Visa or MasterCard number and credit card expiration date on 147 individuals that participated in the Dartmouth Outdoor Club First Year Program for the Class of 2014. According to the notice, the device was stolen from a “secured room within the College.” Dartmouth is offering 12 months of credit monitoring to the affected individuals.
