Abstract
Applicants and parents are concerned about possible identity theft following the theft of student applications from St. Patrick's College. Birth certificates, bank checks, and other personal information on 20 teacher training applications was stolen from the admissions office following the recent theft. Individuals affected were mature students from the BA and BEd programs. St. Patrick officials do not believe that the applicants were targeted as other equipment including a camera and two laptops were stolen from other parts of the college. Admissions officials have contacted the individuals affected and asked them to apply again as the data stolen had yet to be fully processed.
