Abstract
Personal information on 70,000 Brock University donors was stolen from a university computer during recent computer breach on September 22. Included in this information was about 90 credit cards and information on 270 back accounts. This intruder used "secret passwords" to gain access to information on every Brock University donor according to Terry Boak, Brock’s Vice President. Boak also said this intruder went straight for the donor information. The intruder was in and out in four minutes. While these individuals were notified by the university, Brock University did not see any "value" in releasing this information to the public.
