Abstract
An external financial aid consultant working for Berry College "misplaced" financial aid information on over 2,000 students at a regional airport. This information, both in paper and digital format, included incomes, names and Social Security numbers and other information included on student FAFSA applications. Berry officials did point out that this information does not contain enough detail for identity theft on its own. Missing are birth dates and places and account information. However, Berry has setup a hotline for students and parents with questions and/or concerns.
